About Ghost Prank

Ghost Prank (ghostprank.net) is an independent web tool that makes ghost prank filter videos with AI. You upload one photo or a clip of up to 10 seconds, and it returns a video with the grey, white-eyed ghost from TikTok's ghost filter standing right behind the person. It is an independent site, not run by any of the companies or creators named on this page.

Why We Built It

The ghost filter prank took off on TikTok in October 2026, but the live effect only works while you film inside the app. We wanted a way to add the ghost to a photo or a video you already have, on any phone or computer, without editing it in yourself.

How It Works

A photo goes to Google's Veo 3.1 video model, which animates it as a short front-camera video and brings the ghost up behind your shoulder, with sound. A clip goes to Alibaba's Wan 2.7 video editing model, which adds the ghost behind the main person and keeps her there as they move, while the rest of the clip and its sound stay the same. Each video uses credits, and the credits go back to your balance if a video fails.

What We Are Not

Ghost Prank is not affiliated with TikTok, CapCut, Snapchat, Google or Alibaba, or with the creators who made the trend popular. The trend clips shown on this site are credited to their creators and are there to explain the trend.

Using It Responsibly

Only upload photos and clips of adults who agreed to be pranked, never of children, celebrities or other public figures, and label your clip as AI-generated when you share it.
